Brandy was surrendered to us because her family was extremely busy and unable to spend enough time at home with her. She is a darling little girl who enjoys sitting on our laps and being lavished with attention. She is fine weaving in and out between our many dogs here who tower high above her. She gets along with the 3 cats living here, also. She prefers women to men. She is very cautious around men but will let them pick her up, feed her, etc. I consider her a low maintenance dog but feel she would not do well if left alone a lot.
Brandy only weighs 4.5 pounds. She is not only brave, but she is also a very smart little gal. She has figured out the best way to go up and down our uneven deck steps to her advantage. She knows how to position herself when treats are being passed out. She is also very athletic and spry. 12 years old? You would never know it! She loves food and always cleans her bowl!
Her black and silvery white fur is very special. According to her family, she is a pure breed Chihuahua that they bought from a breeder as a puppy. She has a quiet little bark. She just had a dental and is up to date on all vaccinations. Her adoption will include a sweater, leash, collar, dog “blanket”, nail clippers, paperwork and her tote bag. These things were sent along with her from her previous family.
Brandy is housetrained. You do have to keep track of the time as she does not let us know she needs to go out. Taking her out every 4-5 hours seems to be good. She is quick! She goes instantly and is ready to bound back into the house.
Brandy’s adoption fee is $150.00. She would make a wonderful family member for a senior or anyone whose children are old enough to respect her size.
